Punjab, Balochistan victorious in Blind Cricket
LAHORE: Punjab and Balochistan won their respective matches of the A.S. Ali OGDCL Blind Cricket Super League on day three at Bolan Cricket Stadium Quetta on Thursday.
According to information available here, Punjab beat KP by six wickets. KP made just 164 for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Haroon Khan was the leading scorer with 56. Muhammad Ijaz made 32.
Punjab, in reply, reached the target losing 4 wickets. Punjab completed their chase with 4 balls to spare. Muhammad Akram played a Captain’s knock of 52 while Kamran Akhter made 32. Fakhar Abbas took 2 wickets for 26. Man of the Match award went to Muhammad Akram. Baochistan beat Sindh by 141 runs. Balochistan managed 200 in 19.5 overs. Badar Munir scored brisk 55 and M Waqas made 22. Yasir Malik bowled took 4 wickets for 29 and Zeeshan Abbasi 2 for 26. Sindh, in reply, were dismissed for just 59. Amir Ishfaq and M Rashid were the only batsmen to reach double figure with 22 and 11 runs respectively. Badar Munir bowled well to claimed 4 wickets giving away just 11 runs. Mohsin Khan claimed 3 wickets for 21. Badar Munir was named the Man of the Match.
