ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) directed Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap) to withdraw all the spurious drugs from the market. The apex court also ordered the authority to submit its report within 15 days regarding use of spurious medicines in hospitals. A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar heard the case here on Wednesday. The CJP also sought National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to intervene in the matter. The court ordered Law and Justice Commission to call a meeting of judges of drug courts. The Drap officials who appeared before the court pleaded for early disposal of cases in the drug courts.
