PIMS forms audit, monitoring panel
Islamabad : The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences has formed an internal panel to verify or certify the quality of work done or purchase of equipment according to the orders placed.
The Audit and Monitoring Committee is headed by Professor of Anesthesia Iqbal Memon and comprises Professor of Neurology Mazhar Badashah, Professor of General Medicine Shajee Siddiqui, Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and a representative of Civil Engineering, Accounts, Administration and EME or other relevant departments as members, said a notification issued by PIMS deputy executive director Dr Zulfiqar Ghouri with the approval of executive director Dr Amjad Mehmood Raja. The notification said the committee could engage any other person if the need arose.
