ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior, Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that investors from across the globe were turning to Pakistan due to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project.
He was addressing the launching ceremony of Productivity Quality and Innovation initiative in Islamabad on Friday. The Minister said with improvement in security situation the country is
now considered a safe haven for investment. Ahsan Iqbal pointed out that energy and infrastructure projects under the CPEC have been completed.
The next phase of CPEC will help develop the country’s industrial sector on modern lines.
He said the early harvest projects have helped build modern infrastructure and overcome power shortages in the country which will help put the country on sustainable development. He said the CPEC related projects are also helping in the training and capacity building of the workers.
