National gymnastics trials tomorrow

LAHORE: The Pakistan Gymnastics Federation (PGF) has named a selection committee for the selection of the national team for participation in the 18th Asian Games to be held in Jakarta. PGF secretary Manzoor Jafary informed The News that the selection committee will hold trials on April 21 at sports hall of Islamia College Civil Lines at 11 am. The selection committee comprises Prof Painda A Malik (Chairman), Manzoor Hussain Jafary (secretary), with Khalid Mahmood, Muhammad Farooq, Abdullah Jaan being its members. The technical committee has Shahjahan Anwar (chief judge/chairman), Muhammad Aqeel Asghar (secretary) with judges from Army and Wapda while POA and PSB observers will be there to witness the selection.
