PTI MPA from Peshawar joins Q-League
LAHORE: PTI MPA from Peshawar Javed Nasim along with his supporters joined the PML-Q which, he said, was sincere with the state.
Talking to media, PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said the members from all the parties, including the PML-N, were invited to join the united platform of Muslim League, adding that Javed had quit the party which was in power.
About his book, Shujaat said the content was based on facts and added that he had asked Pervez Musharraf at the time of introducing NRO to start the accountability process.
He said taking a PTI wicket wasn’t an enmity and the possibility of electoral alliance would be considered at the suitable time.
Speaking on the occasion, Pervaiz said they had raised voice for south Punjab province in 2011 and claimed that he had diverted the development budget towards south Punjab and visited the region once a week during his tenure as the chief minister.
Replying to a question, he described the Leghari brothers as his children and said, “These children have now grown up.
He said an “effective/mobile” personality had come for a meeting with Nawaz Sharif, but they did not take it seriously.
Pervaiz said the PML-N people were launching propaganda against judiciary, adding that Nawaz had expelled them from the party. “People have now realised that they did not get respect and are thus deserting them.
