FAISALABAD: Police arrested a car rider and seized 2,000 kites from his possession on Monday night.
A police spokesman said here Tuesday that on special directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Athar Ismaeel a crackdown was launched against kite-flying across the district.
SHO Millat Town police station Rana Abdul Ghaffar intercepted a car at Millat Road and recovered more than 2,000 kites and other paraphernalia from it. The police also arrested car-rider Muhammad Nawaz and started investigation.
