‘Mashal’ election
Islamabad: Mashal Association, an NGO founded by the late Begum Shahida Ejaz Azim in 1987, held an election to select an Executive Committee for the term 2018-2020.
Mashal’s life-president passed away recently and the baton of president-ship was passed on to Rukhsana Mir. Tallat Azim and Fozia Asim were elected vice presidents with Tallat having the additional charge of Director Communications, says a press release.
Other committee members include General Secretary Mahgul Qureshi; Joint Secretary Ayesha Amir; Director Finance Zarina Nasim; Treasurer Tasneem Masud; Director Administration and HR. Parveen Aslam; Director Education Farzana Saeed; Director Health Dr. Tehmina Haider; Director Vocational Skills Furrukh Aurangzeb; Director Projects Anees Temuri while Arfa Shamsa and Dr. Shamim Zaidi were recognised as ambassadors at large.
