Addressing a public gathering at the Jinnah Stadium here on Sunday, he said all had realized that Imran Khan and Asif Ali Zardari were not competent enough to show their faces to people in the provinces their parties were in power. He said his party delivered goods. After the next elections, the PML-N would introduce a metro transit project in Gujranwala too.
Before the rally, the CM, in a display of his wrestling skills, overpowered in jest a wrestler who came to greet him. The stunt gained cheers from the crowd. When he reached the stage, he was presented a Gurz and a turban.

He said farmers in Punjab were getting interest-free loans and fertilizer at half price. The deserving students were awarded stipends worth Rs 15 billion during the last nine years in Punjab.
