Efforts urged to promote cultural values

NOWSHERA: Speakers at a daylong cultural and literary event called for efforts to promote cultural values among the youth.

The district administration had organised the event here on Friday. Noted poet Yar Muhammad Maghmoom was the chief guest on the occasion.

Writer and columnist Saadullah Jan Barq, poet and writer Aslam Khan Pashto film actors Jamil Babar, Javed Babar and a number of students attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Yar Muhammad lauded the district administration for holding the event to highlight the culture and history of Nowshera district. He said such events played a vital role in informing the young generation about the past.

At the end, teachers were awarded shields and commendation certificates for outstanding performance
