Projects worth Rs3 billion for Fata uplift approved
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra Wednesday approved a number of projects worth to a total of Rs three billion in various sectors of socio-economic uplift in Fata.
He directed the concerned authorities to complete all the schemes within the given budget and stipulated time. He was presiding over the second meeting of the Fata Development Committee held at Governor's House, Peshawar.
Additional Chief Secretary, Sikandar Qayyum, secretary of social sectors, planning and development, Asghar Qureshi; Principal Secretary to Governor, Munir Azam and the other concerned senior officials of the Fata Secretariat attended the meeting. The governor was briefed in detail on pace of progress of various developmental projects in Fata.
