Ephedrine case: Hanif Abbasi appears in court

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Hanif Abbasi appeared before a Control of Narcotics Substances Court (CNSC) in ephedrine case here on Tuesday.
Hanif Abbasi and six other accused have already submitted their written statements in the court for final arguments from defense and prosecutor councils. The ephedrine case is just close to a decision. The CNSC Judge Raja Pervez Akhtar adjourned further hearing of case till February 12.
Abbasi was booked in the case on charges of allegedly misusing 500 kilogram of ephedrine after he had procured the controlled chemical through his company named Grace Pharma to produce medicines.
