HANGU: Elders of Orakzai tribe on Thursday said they would not accept the decision taken at a meeting convened at the Chief Minister's House a few days back.
Talking to reporters, the tribal elders said that Bezotkhel section of the Orakzai tribe had had a property dispute with Muhammadzai tribe in Kohat since 1986. They said their tribe also had a dispute with Sheikhan. They said the administration and tribal elders had convened several jirgas to resolve the property dispute.
The elders said Chief Minister Pervez Khattak had convened a meeting of a 30-member Jirga. It included lawmakers and officials from Kohat. The official of Orakzai Agency would also attend the meeting. The elders said they would not accept the decision of the meeting as it had no representation of Orakzai tribe.
