Another influenza patient dies at BVH

BAHAWALPUR: Another patient of seasonal influenza died at the Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) on Friday. Shamim Bibi of Bahawalpur was the fifth patient, who died of seasonal influenza at the BVH during the last 18 days. One more H1N1 patient Sardaran Bibi of Chak 120/DB of Tehsil Yazman was admitted to the BVH in a critical condition. She is on the ventilator. Reportedly, only 27 percent staffers of the hospital were vaccinated and remaining 2,400 others, including doctors and paramedics, are yet to undergo vaccination.
