MINGORA: The residents of various areas in Swat district on Monday took out a protest rally against the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) officials for carrying out gas loadshedding.
Led by Malik Fazal Akbar Baba and Malik Ihsanullah, the protesters carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against the officials of the SNGPL for gas loadshedding in Sangota and Manglawar areas.
Speaking on the occasion, they said the residents were facing difficulties while preparing food because of lack of gas supply. They said people had to bring cooked food from the market and at times children had to go to school without breakfast. They asked the SNGPL officials to reduce duration of the gas loadshedding.
