QWP leader calls for cordial Pak-Afghan ties
PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) provincial chairman Sikandar Sherpao has stressed the need for cordial relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan which is a key to ensure regional peace.
Speaking at a party meeting here on Sunday, the QWP leader said that Afghanistan’s rejection of the transit agreement was not a good decision.
He said that the decisions affected the lives of common people in both countries.
The QWP leader asked both countries to continue dialogue process for putting an end to the issues between the two countries.
He accused the government of using delaying tactics in merging Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sikandar Sherpao said the political parties had struggled for the rights of tribespeople and that they were united on the issue of merger.
