ISLAMABAD: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, has said that journalists are also being provided with Health Cards under the Prime Minister’s Health Scheme.
She stated this while addressing the MoU signing ceremony that has held between National Press Club (NPC) and PIMS hospital in Islamabad.
The minister said the government is focusing on provision of best health and education facilities to the people across the country. She said journalists are also being provided with Health Cards under the Prime Minister’s Health Scheme.
She said the protection of rights of journalists is a priority of the government as journalists have rendered sacrifices in the line of duty along with the country’s security forces.
She said the government is starving hard to issue health cards to journalists and added the government always talk for the rights of journalists. During her address she also lauded the efforts and contributions of the Press Club administration.
