PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced holding a march from Jinnah Park to the American Consulate General on December 22 to protest the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital by President Donald Trump.
A meeting of the JI was held at Al Markaz-e-Islami on Friday with its provincial chief Mushtaq Ahmad in the chair that decided to hold 'Al-Quds march' from Jinnah Park to American Consulate on December 22.
The participants of the meeting asked traders, lawyers, media persons
and people from all walks of life to participate in the march to raise their anger against the decision of the US president. They criticised the Muslim countries for a weak stance over the issue in the OIC meeting.
