A function was recently held for the Jinnah Foundation’s teachers and other staffers to felicitate the principal and teachers on the outstanding performance of their students in the matriculation examinations, as well as felicitating 27 teachers who had graduated from the Jinnah Foundation School earlier, a press release said on Monday.
In his address, the chairman praised the dedication of the teachers and the outstanding performance of the students, saying this was the only way forward to a brighter and prosperous Pakistan. He thought female education was the key to progress.
The managing trustee of the Jinnah Foundation, Muhammad Ejaz, said his vision was to see each graduating student pursue higher education for which purpose scholarships were jointly being granted by the foundation and Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited. He said that higher education for female students was the best way to achieve the objectives for which the Jinnah Foundation had been established as a trust by Liaquat Merchant.
