PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) awarded six more party tickets to the candidates for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in the next general election.
The ANP Parliamentary Board nominated former lawmaker Saqibullah Chamkani for PK-11 and Ibrar Khalil for PK-5 in Peshawar.
The parliamentary board selected Pervez Ahmed Khan, a former MPA, to contest the polls from PK-16 and Hamid Ali Khan from PK-14 in Nowshera district. Faisalzeb Khan had been nominated for PK-88 Shangla and former lawmaker Haji Bahadur Khan for PK-95 Lower Dir.
Also in Nowshera, district, the party has already awarded tickets to the ANP’s central general secretary and former provincial minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain for PK-12, Shahid Khan Khattak for PK-13 and former lawmaker Khalil Abbas Khattak for PK-15.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
