PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) provincial general secretary Sardar Hussain Babak on Thursday criticised the government for not resolving the fee issue at the University of Peshawar.
Through a statement issued here, he said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had been claiming free education for all during the 2013 election campaign. However, he lamented that the government was not paying any heed to the demands of the students who had been protesting against the fee hike at the university.
He said that provision of quality education and facilities to students was the government responsibility and the PTI government had failed to provide quality education to students of the underprivileged classes.
