CHARSADDA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) expelled Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Fazal Shakoor Khan from the party.
Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, JUI-F leaders Maulana Muhammad Hashim Khan, Mufti Pir Gohar Ali Shah and others said that Fazal Shakoor Khan had arranged a public meeting for Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at his hujra.
Announcing the cancellation of his party membership, they alleged that Fazal Shakoor had not accepted any party organisation.
They said that senior party leaders were ignored and the ticket was awarded to Fazal Shakoor, but he didn’t work for the party.
They said that Fazal Shakoor was served a show-cause notice on his anti-JUI-F activities and the lawmaker refused to respond to it.
The JUI-F leaders said the lawmaker was asked to cancel the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf public meeting at his hujra but he organised it.
They said the Election Commission of Pakistan would be approached to cancel his membership of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
