Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff of Lahore Police claimed to have arrested two members of a gang involved in lifting vehicles from shopping centres, housing societies, plazas and parking lots.
The staff recovered nine stolen motorcycles, master keys and weapons from their custody.
The accused were identified as Muhammad Rizwan alias Kaka, the ringleader of the gang, and his accomplice Yaqoob alias Boba. During interrogation, the arrested people confessed their crime of stealing motorbikes from Civil Lines, Lower Mall, Baghbanpura, Mustafabad, Harbanspura, Garden Town, Gulshan Ravi, Iqbal Town, Millat Park, Mozang and Manga Mandi Police Lines. SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem announced commendatory certificates for the special police team.

Police recovered hundreds of kites, strings and dangerous chemicals used to manufacture kite strings. The accused have been identified as Shahbaz, Shahbaz Ahmad and Salman Butt.
