RDA seals office of illegal scheme

Rawalpindi :The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) conducted operation against illegal/unauthorised marketing office of the Islamabad Farm Houses at Chandni Chowk, sealed it and demolished bill board and electric poles at site of the illegal scheme at Adyala Road.
Directorate Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE), RDA Building Control’s staff with the assistance of Rawalpindi Police from the concerned Police Station carried out an operation against the illegal marketing office.
Naeem Asmat, owner of the property started the illegal Islamabad Farm Houses’ Marketing office for advertising and started development work in violation of Punjab Private Housing schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010.
Jamshaid Aftab, Director (MP&TE) RDA requested the general public not to purchase plot in any private Housing schemes without conforming its status from RDA, otherwise RDA will not be responsible for any loss.
