Nawaz trying to fool all the people all the time: Imran
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday that Nawaz Sharif’s rant (which he repeats ad nauseum) that people would do his ‘Ehtesab’ is an attempt to fool all the people all the time but the people cannot be fooled repeatedly and it is a conspiracy against the state institutions.
“Nawaz Sharif trying to stir the people into doing his ‘Ehtesab’ is a violation of the Constitution and a call for mob justice while undermining the constitutional role of judiciary”, said PTI chairman in a message on social networking website today. “Undermining the judiciary and the Constitution shows Nawaz Sharif has no legal defence against the criminal charges against him,’ he stated through his tweet.
They know that their role under the Constitution is to elect their representatives, the PTI chairman stated adding, while it is judiciary that is tasked with Ehtesab and upholding the law. He stated Nawaz and the Sharif mafia are desperate to use all extralegal means to save their Rs300 billion laundered and stashed abroad.
Meanwhile in another tweet, Imran Khan strongly criticised Sindh government for the use of force against “Fixit” volunteers stating that the violent response from Sindh government over Fixit’s peaceful protest against the deteriorating education system in Karachi is extremely condemnable. “Arrest of eight Fixit members is an autocratic move and denial of citizens’ democratic right of peaceful protest”, said PTI chairman.
