‘Rulers responsible for Turbat incident’

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has expressed grief over massacre of youths in Balochistan.
The youths belonged to Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot and other districts and were going in search of employment.
Talking to reporters while visiting the bereaved families in Gujrat on Sunday, the PML-Q leader said he equally shared the grief of the affected families. He said such incidents are the worst example of brutality and held rulers responsible for such incidents, adding that had they provided employment opportunities to them in the country, their families would have not suffered such a huge loss. Expressing condolences and sympathies with the parents of youths hailing from Gujrat, he said their sorrow is our sorrow, such great loss is irreparable and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant solace and patience to them.
Responding to the questions from the media, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said until our rulers do not create maximum employment opportunities in the country, people will be forced to go abroad in search of employment through illegal means and in greed for better future will continue to be falling into the hands of the agents and becoming victims of different incidents.
Pervaiz Elahi further said there is a dire need for effective and result-oriented action against networks of agents and human smugglers who in greed for commission befool youths and play with their lives so that such painful incidents do not occur. He said instead of lip service it is very essential that maximum employment opportunities are created in the country.
