Five killed as rain, windstorm hit Karachi

KARACHI: At least five people were killed as heavy rain and a windstorm hit the city on Monday night, leading to panic on the roads besides power outages. According to different TV channels, numerous areas were blocked due to traffic jams, while scores of commuters were stranded as their vehicles broke down midway. The stormy weather also hit different cities in Sindh.
