MINGORA: A man was killed and another sustained injuries in a road accident here on Sunday, police said.
They said that a speedy truck hit a motorbike in Charbagh tehsil. As a result, one bike-rider Zahir was killed while another Shah Hussain sustained injuries.
The police registered the case against the truck driver.
Two electrocuted: A man identified as Mian Alam was electrocuted after suffering an electric shock when he touched a live wire while switching a fan in his home in Kishawar village here. Three other persons, Muhammad Jamal, Faramoz and Shah Hussain sustained injuries in a bid to save Mian Alam. They were taken to a local hospital. However, Muhammad Jamal succumbed to his injuries. The other injured were undergoing treatment at the hospital.
