MYJC condemns acts of terrorism in country
ISLAMABAD: The Milli Yek Jehti Council (MYJC) during a meeting has condemned acts of terrorism in Lahore, Balochistan and elsewhere in the country.
“We strongly condemn terror acts in any form and loss of innocent lives,” said MYJC General Secretary Liaquat Baloch, while addressing a meeting of the council here.
However, he said that declaring Syed Salahuddin and his organisation Hizbul Mujahideen have been declared terrorist by the United States under a conspiracy being hatched against the Muslim organisation.
Baloch said that all religious and political parties and the Muslim world should take joint stance against the US act meant to undermine struggle of Kashmiri people.
Talking about the accountability process, the MYJC leader said the process should be taken to its logical end, and it should not left incomplete with punishment to a single person and his few aides.
Other leaders Mian Muhammad Aslam, Asif Luqman Qazi, Aamer Shahzad, Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naeemi and others demanded enforcement of Shariat and implementation of Islamic injunctions. They said all the religious parties would strongly oppose amendments to the Constitution.
