Motorway Police arrange road safety stalls at GT Road toll plazas

Islamabad: National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has arranged road safety stalls at all toll plazas falling from Peshawar to Lahore on Grand Trunk road to celebrate Independence Day.

According to a press release, a gift hampers containing road safety messages were distributed among road users as part of Independence Day celebrations. NH&MP carried out various public awareness activities from Peshawar to Lahore and Murree Expressway.

Prayer ceremonies were also arranged for prosperity and safety of the country and nation. Flag hoisting ceremonies arranged in every office of entire North Zone.

The purpose of such activities is not only to provide free and safe passage to road users but also to establish good police public relation for the establishment of a society fully literate with traffic rules.
