Zarsanga, her two sons referred to LRH
NOWSHERA: The pride of performance award recipient Pashto singer Zarsanga and her two sons were referred to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment on Monday.
Zarsanga, her sons Amin and Mustafa were referred to the LRH for treatment. However, the doctors said Zarsanga and her sons had suffered minor injuries and may be discharged soon.
Four of the injured from the rival party, including Shabbir, Nasir, Sudhair and Abdur Rehman and a son of Zarsanga, Babu were undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera.
Shehzada, son of Mulla Jan, a resident of Baila Koroona, reported to police in injured condition that he along with his mother Zarsanga, Noshada Bibi, Amin alias Meeno, Zubair, Babu and Mustafa were present at home when the accused broke into their house and started beating them black-and-blue.
He said all of them, including his mother Zarsanga sustained severe injuries. He claimed they were expelled from their house after being beaten up. He informed the police that a monetary dispute had led to the incident.
Khairul Bashar of Baila Koroona in his first information report told the police they had sold a cow to Shehzada, son of Zarsanga, but he was not paying the money. He said Shehzada, Amin, Zubair, Babu and Mustafa started beating him and his relatives Sudhair, Yasir, Abdur Rehman and Shabbir, causing them severe injuries.
