There is no need to write on the importance of education. Much has been written on this topic. But it seems that the concerned authorities are not interested in paying attention to the education sector of the country. Widespread illiteracy in the country, use of unfair means in examinations, disappointing results, etc., couldn’t urge the authorities to bring much-needed reforms to the sector. Over the years, many development projects have been approved.
From multi-storey buildings to model graveyard, the government is focusing to improve the country’s infrastructure. While these things are important, education in a country holds even more importance. It is the responsibility of the government to make quality education affordable for every citizen. In our country, the access to quality education is limited to the elite and the upper middle class. Only education can lead a country to the path to progress.
