LAHORE
A 24-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a house at Gulshan Ravi police limits on Friday.
Police have removed the dead body to the morgue for autopsy.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Muzamil, son of Muhammad Saleem, a resident of Gulshan Ravi. He worked in an Embroidery Factory.
The victim was living as a tenant in a room of the factory owner in Data Street, Shahbaz Colony. On the day of incident, the owner of the factory came to the room in the morning and found the deceased lying unconscious in his bed. He called the police and Rescue 1122. Police reached the spot and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. They also collected the forensic evidences from the crime scene. Family of the deceased alleged that factory owner Abdul Majeed had murdered their son for no reason.
According to SI Nasir Parvaiz, deceased was a drug-addict. Circumstantial evidences suggested that he died due to an excessive use of drugs. There was a mark of injection on the leg of the deceased, he added. However, autopsy will help ascertain the cause of death, he told.
No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

However, autopsy will help ascertain the cause of death. He further told the media that they found his CNIC on search. They were searching for the family of the deceased, he added.
Traffic plan: The City Traffic Police Lahore has devised a diversion plan from Samanabad to Chauburji Multan Road to maintain an uninterrupted flow of traffic during the construction work.
According to the plan, a control room has been established to guide citizens about the traffic situation and two SPs, three DSPs, eight inspectors and 204 extra wardens would be deployed during the construction work.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Tayyab Hafiz Cheema told the media that Multan Road from Morr Samanabad to Chauburji had been closed for every kind of traffic. During the construction work, heavy traffic from Multan Road and Chowk Yateem Khan will be diverted left.
