Bears on Friday prevailed on Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) 10-share Index, shaving 48 points amid a heavy trading volume.
A total of 148 companies witnessed trading. Of them, 84 ended up and 64 fished down.
The ISE fell to 3,960.44 points as compared to 4009.14 points recorded in the last session.
A total of 168,900 shares were traded in the market as against 33,500.
Lafarge Pakistan Cement was the volume leader with 100,000 shares, followed by Bank of Punjab 50,000 shares and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim 5,000 shares.
