India detains three Pakistanis for incomplete travel documents
NEW DELHI: In a clear tit-for-tat move Indian police have detained three Pakistani nationals for allegedly incomplete travel and stay documents.
According to reports, Indian police have also apprehended Kerala resident identified as Bashir for helping the Pakistani nationals for their entry into India. India Today reported that Bashir assisted Kiran and her parents to travel to India in order to marry her.
Pakistan last week arrested an Indian national Sheikh Nabi Ahmed from Islamabad for incomplete travel documents and visa. India has sought consular access to Sheikh Nabi and the Indian High Commission in Pakistan has written Pakistani Foreign Office for details regarding arrest of Mumbai resident.
Sheikh was arrested from the F-8 area of Islamabad by Margalla Police on May 19 for allegedly living there without proper permission and travel documents. A case was filed against him under Article 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946 and was sent to 14-day judicial remand. India has also sought consular access to its RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav and moved International Court of Justice after Pakistan’s Field General Court Martial awarded death sentence to him on charges of espionage. Yadav had confessed to sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan. The world court stayed execution of Indian spy till its final decision.
