PESHAWAR: Hurdles to the dispensation of inexpensive and speedy justice were underlined at a forum organised here by the Shura-e-Hamdard, a forum that organises sessions on monthly basis to discuss various issues and problems and get suggestions from experts in the relevant fields.
A senior lawyer, Abdur Rauf Rohaila, was the keynote speaker at the forum which was titled 'Dispensation of speedy and inexpensive justice in Pakistan and challenges'. Legal experts and observers from Shura-e- Hamdard attended the forum. President of the Hamdard Foundation, Sadia Rashid, had come from Karachi to attend the event. A noted writer, columnist, cultural expert and Chairman of Shura-e-Hamdard, Dr Salahuddin, facilitated the session. In his speech, Abdul Rauf Rohaila said the lawyers would have to play a key role in the dispensation of inexpensive justice. —Correspondent
