The advertising exposition organised by the Jang Media Group at a local hotel continued for the third day on Wednesday guiding participants on the ways to increase customer base and sales by publicity through the group’s popular publications and digital platforms.

Like previous days, the Jang MediaWorks Expo attracted large crowds of businessmen and representatives of commercial enterprises.

Experts informed them about the latest marketing techniques and offered them highly discounted advertising packages through the Jang Media Group.

The participants appreciated the holding of the expo and said participation in it would help expand their businesses.

They said they were hopeful that such events would happen regularly.

Muhammad Luqman Kamil, an enterpriser, said the expo was a unique initiative taken by the Jang Media Group.

“I’ve seen such events take place in other countries but perhaps this is happening for the first time in Pakistan. I’m sure it will go a long way. It will help the buyer and seller alike and thus, contributing to the efforts for the country’s economic welfare,” he said.

Tahir Umar, project manager at the shadi.pk, said his organisation wanted to create better public awareness of the online matrimony projects, especially his.

He said he was hopeful that the hiring of the Jang Media Group for advertising would help his organisation reach out to more and more people and thus, increasing its clientele.

Khurram Saeed, also a representative of the shadi.pk, declared the event to be very helpful for his organisation saying very discounted advertising packages along with guidance were offered to participants.

He said he felt that the Jang Media Group’s popular daily publications and digital platforms would help his organisation increase customer base by massive yet effective publicity.

He said such expositions should happen regularly to the benefit of small and medium enterprises.

Tayyab Niaz, a dealer of solar energy and central heating products and services, said participation in the expo was a good chance for his organisation to expand business.

He said the adverting packages offered at the Jang Media Group were unprecedented. “We’ve been doing the business since 1996 but have never been given such competitive options by any media outlet to publicize our products and services totalling more than 250 and therefore, we’ve decided to benefit from them,” he said.

Imtiaz Ahmad Bajwa of a local real estate firm welcomed the holding of the expo and said the event would help boost the business.

The organisers insisted the event had done better than expected.

Syed Amjad Ali, of Jang Media Group, said the expo targeted the businessmen who advertised their services and products either rarely or not at all to educate them about the extraordinary power of print and online advertising through the country’s most widely read and influential newspapers, including ‘Jang’, ‘The News’, ‘Awam’ and ‘Awaz.’

He added that the group had offered very attractive publicity packages to such businessmen.

Syed Amjad Ali said around 3,500 businesses had registered themselves with the group at the expo for consultation and publicity on ways and means to grow.

He said the expo, the first of its kind initiative by any media group in the country, got a tremendous response from business enterprises, more than expected.

He said among those benefiting from the discounted publicity packages offered at the expo were many small time businesswomen, who were involved in catering, home decor, online clothing sale and other unconventional ventures.
