Pak-Bahrain business conference on 30th, says Javed Malik
ISLAMABAD: A high-profile Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference is being organised in Islamabad in collaboration with Pakistan’s embassy in Bahrain and the Ministry of Commerce March 30 (Thursday).
Bahraini Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Zayed R Al Zayani is travelling especially from Bahrain to co-chair the conference with Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan.
Speaking about the initiative, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Javed Malik said, “It has remained my sincere effort to focus on expanding Pakistan’s economic ties with Bahrain, and positively engage with Bahraini businessmen to encourage them to trade and invest in Pakistan’s emerging economy.”
Prominent business leaders from Bahrain that would take part in the conference included Bahrain Chamber of Commerce Chairman Khalid Al Moayyed, Khalid Al Zayani, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ishaaq, Ahmed bin Hindi and Ahmed Al Saloom.
Javed Malik added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan was moving steadily towards progress and prosperity. He said all business delegates were travelling and staying at their own expenses and there was no cost on the public exchequer.
