Fazl for strict punishment for social media blasphemers
PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Saturday called for strict punishment to all those who are involved in the propagation of blasphemous content on social media, reported a private news channel on Saturday.
Talking to media the JUI (F) leader said said that the minority members had expressed their full confidence in JUI-F.
He said the existence of military courts in the presence of civil courts was against democracy. He said that his stance on the military courts would be the same in Senate as was expressed within the National Assembly. While responding to a question, he said he absolutely had no idea as to whether any of his MPA left the party.
He said issuing visas to US citizens was an extremely sensitive matter as Americans killed our people and got away with it while leaving Pakistan.
The JUI-F chief said that mere words won’t be enough to solve the matter of Haqqani’s allegations and this matter should be probed.
