PTI leaders laud tree plantation
LAHORE
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leadership has lauded the tree plantation campaign of KhyberPakhtunkhwa government.
In a seminar held on Tuesday, the PTI senior leaders from Punjab, including Dr Yasmin Rashid, Abdul Aleem Khan, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Malik Amin Aslam, praised the plantation of millions of plants in KP. They called it a tremendous success with regard to restoring the beauty of the province, ensuring a healthy atmosphere and providing employment to the people.
The participants of the seminar were told that Lahore, once known as the city of orchards, had been turned into a highly-polluted area where the government was cutting down trees and snatching oxygen from the people through metro bus and Orange Train. The PTI leadership also vowed to take up the issue in the Punjab Assembly.
