Pakistan Day
More than 70 years ago, March 23 became the day of the Pakistan resolution. The day reflected the strength and determination of a nation that stood united for its independence. Despite facing huge difficulties, the nation fought together for a single cause – the independence. It is unfortunate that the nation of the independent state lacks zeal and enthusiasm. Some evil elements have been successful in creating a divide within the country. The unity that used to be the nation’s strength has been lost.
March 23 is just two days away. On this day, every Pakistani should promise to stand firm and united. We should follow the footsteps of our great leaders and glorify Pakistan with the golden principles of ‘Unity, Faith and Discipline’.
