PESHAWAR: The first information report (FIR) in the Ghanta Ghar incident in which three persons were crushed by a bulldozer does not carry the name of the operator, a source said.
Three persons were killed when crushed by bulldozer during an anti-encroachment drive in Ghanta Ghar on Friday. The angry protesters staged sit-in and later offered the funeral prayers on GT Road by blocking it. The FIR in the case was later lodged by the police. “It has mentioned four persons, administrator Zafar Shah and three other officials Saleem, Shahid and Riaz Awan. However, there was no mention of the driver,” said the source. An inquiry committee has already been constituted in the case.
