Man killed in armed clash

JAFFARABAD: A man died and another sustained injuries in armed clash between two groups over land dispute
in Usta Muhammad area of the district on Saturday.
According to police, two sub-clans took positions and used automatic weapons against each other over a land dispute. As a result, one of them Sodal, son of Muhammad Husain died on the spot while Gulzar Ahmad suffered injuries.
The body and the injured were rushed to nearby hospital. The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities. Local administration reached the site and started efforts to control the firing by the sides. Investigation was underway.
