TECHNICAL Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will recruit 1,042 teachers for its institutes across Punjab and the induction will be made for the teaching posts from Grade 14 to Grade 17.
TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Shaikh said this while addressing a meeting regarding recruitment of new teachers in Tevta institutes.
It is pertinent to mention here that Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority has already advertised these posts and the last date to submit applications is January 30, 2015.
The recruitment policy is based on the distribution of 100 marks.
The educational qualification shall carry 65 percent marks, higher education 10 marks, 20 percent marks for general test conducted by NTS Islamabad and interview has only 5 percent marks.
According to Irfan Qaiser Shaikh, recruitment would be helpful to meet the shortage of faculty in Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority institutes and raise the standard of technical education and vocational training system. It would also be helpful in reducing unemployment across the province, he said.
