PPP always sacrificed for unity of Federation: Kaira
LALAMUSA: PPP’s senior leader and former information minister Ch Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that his party always sacrificed for the unity of the Federation and democracy.He was addressing a dinner in his honour by the PPP councilors and workers at the Camping Ground on Friday night.
Later, talking to reporters, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the PPP always struggled against dictators in past. He informed that the PPP would announce its strategy on the death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on Dec 27. He said that democracy could not run without accountability and better mechanism. He said that corruption was not only the issue but terrorism and fundamentalism were also major issues as they had defamed Pakistan as a state. Former Punjab finance minister Ch Tanveer Ashraf Kaira, Ch Nadeem Asghar Kaira and PPP councilors were also present.
