Killer gets death, fine

OKARA: Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Nadeem Shaukat on Monday awarded death sentence and Rs 200,000 to a man in a murder case.
According to prosecution, Ghulam Nabi Dogar of Basti Abdul Sattar, Gogera Town, had murdered Aftab over enmity some five years ago. The court acquitted co-accused Shahzad and Sajjad by giving them benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, ASJ Kaleem Raza awarded death sentence, Rs 100,000 fine and five-year imprisonment to Shahzad Ali of 5/4L village for murdering Muhammad Afzal over a marriage issue.
