Five women, child killed in road accident

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five women and a child were killed and 12 persons
sustained injuries in a road accident near Sarobi village in Mughalkot area on Saturday.
Police said that a tractor-trolley, carrying nomads from Quetta to Dera Ismail Khan, plunged into a ravine near Sarobi village. Five women and a child were killed and 12 persons sustained injuries in the accident, they added.
The identity of the deceased and injured could not be ascertained.
“Apparently the accident occurred owing to over-speeding,” said one of the officials.
The bodies and the injured were taken to the nearby hospital where condition of some of injured was stated to be critical.
