Islamabad: If Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary is to be believed, schools and colleges in Islamabad won't close on Nov 2, the day the PTI has planned to lock the federal capital down against the PML-N government over corruption charges by staging sit-ins on all major roads.
The CADD oversees Islamabad's all government educational institutions through the Federal Directorate of Education.
The CADD minister told students during a function here that students were the future of the country so no one would be allowed to disrupt educational activities in the capital city in the name of politics.
"Education cannot be compromised for any political objective. Educational institutions will remain open in Islamabad on all working days, including November 2," he said. The minister said the district administration was taking all necessary steps to ensure normalcy in Islamabad on Nov 2.
