Imran to earn nothing but humiliation: Pervaiz
ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed on Saturday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did nothing wrong, adding that PTI Chairman Imran Khan would gain nothing except embarrassment in his protest.
In a statement, Pervaiz said, “Imran knows that the prime minister has done nothing wrong. That’s why he does not want the Terms of References (ToRs) to be formed.”
He said Imran should trust the judicial system when he had filed a petition in the court, claiming that the PTI had accepted that the prime minister did not harm the national exchequer.
Pervaiz said the prime minister had respected rule of law even when doing business. The Supreme Court had sent a notice to Nawaz but did not summon him for the hearing of Panama Papers case, he added.
“Imran is getting happy on the same notice which has also been sent to him,” the minister remarked.
