Protest against disappearance

LAHORE

Residents of Shadbagh staged a protest demonstration outside Lahore Press Club on Sunday against the police failure to recover a 26-year-old man who had gone missing on October 6.

The family and friends of the man, identified as Usman Riaz, appealed to the chief minister to direct the police to trace him. Usman had left home on October 6 and did not return.  His family suspected that he might have been kidnapped.
